I'll have you know that one of my dearest friends used to LOVE to play the sims. LOVED. IT. She was really very into lots of fun game-like games. As opposed to the not so fun ones. She played pool on-line a lot... started chatting regularly with a guy who also played pool on-line a lot. She moved to Michigan to be with him. They got married for insurance reasons and waited over a year to tell her parents. So I say play the damned game if you want to... just be smart about it.
